Field Service Engineer (x|f|m)

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Perform installations, calibrations and preventive maintenance activities on Sartorius equipment at customer sites.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers in Saudi Arabia and other MEA countries.
• Escalate complex technical issues to higher support levels by documenting findings and following defined escalation processes.
• Maintain accurate and complete service documentation, including time reporting, expenses and work performed.
• Ensure adherence to customer-specific and internal health and safety requirements during all service activities.
• Apply standard service procedures and guidelines consistently by following defined processes and quality standards.

What Will Convince Us

• Vocational Training in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• First experience in field service, maintenance or technical support roles involving electronic, mechanical, or hydraulic systems.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems in a customer-facing environment.
• Basic understanding of automation and robotics systems.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset to explain technical topics clearly and professionally.
• Ability to follow structured service processes and documentation standards.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment.
• Excellent command of English; Arabic would be advantageous.
• Valid driver's license and a high willingness to travel (minimum 70%).
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 22 kilograms and frequently lift up to 9 kilograms.
