Field Application Engineer

TE Connectivity is seeking an experienced Technical field application Engineer to support Field application/technical support activities related to power utilities, EPCs, and industrial customers. The role focuses on technical support and Field application for TE Connectivity’s power portfolio, with a strong emphasis on MV & HV cable accessories, cables and related products .

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge , hands-on field experience , supporting projects from pre-bid stage through award and after sales activities

Travel extensively to support customers, utilities, EPCs, and project sites

Support site activities , hands on training , and technical meetings

Provide basic hands-on assistance for MV/HV cable accessory installations when required

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Preferred)

8–10 years of experience in a techno-commercial / tendering role

Strong experience with TE Connectivity portfolio , especially:

Cable accessories (MV & HV)

Power cables

Smart grid solutions

Arresters and insulators

Lugs and fittings

Proven experience in tendering, quotations, and bid management

Hands-on experience in MV or HV cable accessories installation (basic to intermediate level)

Experience working with utilities, EPCs, and large infrastructure projects

Self-driven and able to work with in team collaboration.

Strong customer-facing and communication skills

Willingness to travel extensively across the region

Structured, detail-oriented, and deadline-focused
