Key Responsibilities:

  • · Egg collections
  • · Embryo transfer lists
  • · Conducting Consultations
  • · HyCoSy & Saline procedures
  • · Work closely with medical, nursing and other colleagues to offer the highest level of patient care
  • · Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary fertility team
  • · SSR procedures desirable but not essential
  • The above will be reviewed as required, in consultation with the post holder. It is offered as a guide to the key responsibilities and duties, but does not preclude other projects that may arise as the organisation evolves.

  • The post holder must maintain confidentiality of information about patients, employees and other Company business in accordance with the National and European data protection legislation.

Requirements

  • Qualifications and Experience:
  • · Full GMC Registration and inclusion on the Specialist Register
  • · High Diploma (Fellowship or Membership) of Speciality College MRCOG or equivalent
  • · Experience in Gynecology or Fertility
  • · Effective communication skills regarding medical topics with both patients and colleagues
  • · Patient focused attitude
  • · Minimum of 2 - 5 years clinical experience working as a Consultant, Fellow or Doctor
  • · An understanding of the biology and scientific evidence underpinning clinical practice
  • · Strong knowledge of the HFEA Code of Conduct
  • · An understanding of the work of related disciplines
  • · An appropriate level of supervision and management skills
  • · An understanding of prevailing legislation
  • · An understanding of, and ability to apply, quality assurance and monitoring of clinical performance
  • Salary: Competitive (Depending on experience)
  • Location: TFP GCRM Fertility - Glasgow
  • Working Hours: Up to 37.5 hours Pension: Dual contribution pension scheme
  • Holiday Entitlement: 27 Days + Bank holidays (pro rata)
