Receptionist cum sales role managing the gym front desk and providing a welcoming experience for members and visitors.
Work location is in person; location stated in the description includes Al Hudaiba, Dubai Production City, Tecom, and Al Barsha.
Reception and membership services
- Greet and welcome members and guests professionally; manage check-ins and membership verification.
- Handle calls and inquiries and provide information about gym services, packages, and timings.
- Assist with membership registrations, renewals, and cancellations; maintain member records and daily attendance.
- Process payments and issue receipts; handle complaints and escalate concerns when needed.
- Keep the reception area clean and organized and coordinate with trainers and staff.
- Monitor access control and follow safety and security procedures.
Candidate requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Previous customer service or receptionist experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; basic computer knowledge including MS Office and email.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain a friendly, presentable, professional attitude.
- Must speak English and Hindi.
- Flexibility to work morning or evening shifts and weekends or holidays if required.
Schedule
- Shift-based hours, morning or evening depending on gym operations.
Compensation and benefits
- AED 2,000 per month plus commission on achieved targets.
- Benefits include a visa, annual leave, one annual one-way air ticket, and free gym access.
Employment
Full-time, permanent position.
