Leads and coordinates individual or group adult fitness and physical training sessions for a specified health and fitness program.
Provides personal training sessions and inductions while delivering customer service to current, future, and past members.
Duties and responsibilities
- Achieve standards and work to plan.
- Communicate to a high standard with personal clients and club members.
- Meet monthly sales targets.
- Work a 9-hour shift including a 1-hour break.
- Maintain fitness and brand standards on and off the gym floor.
- Program and conduct private, small-group, or children’s classes.
- Coach proper technique, spot exercises, and coach group training effectively.
- Use personal training programs to contribute to improved member results.
Experience and qualifications
- Must be Level 3 certified and UAE REPS accredited.
- At least 3 to 4 years of UAE experience as a group exercise and personal training professional.
- At least 3 to 4 years of fitness industry experience, including group exercise classes.
- Coaching and sports qualifications, including Level 3.
- First Aid and AED certified.
- Excellent communication skills in English or Arabic.
- Computer skills.
Skills and preferences
- Result-oriented, proactive, flexible, collaborative, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and target-driven.
- Knowledge of nutrition and psychology is a plus.
- Previous experience teaching women’s-only classes is a plus.
- Ability to program and conduct private, small-group, or children’s classes.
Pay
- AED 4,000–5,000 per month.
