About This Role

Key Responsibilities – Logistics Coordinator (Air Cargo)

• Coordinate and manage daily air cargo shipments (export, import, and transshipment) to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation such as Air Waybills (AWB), invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork.
• Liaise with airlines, freight forwarders, ground handling agents, and customs authorities to facilitate smooth cargo movement.
• Track shipments and provide real-time updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with international aviation regulations, customs laws, and company policies.
• Monitor cargo space availability and book shipments with airlines accordingly.
• Handle any shipment delays, damages, or discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and logistics activities.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams for cargo handling, storage, and dispatch.
• Optimize routes and costs while maintaining service quality and delivery timelines.
• Support pricing, quoting, and invoicing processes related to air freight services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and service providers.
• Ensure proper handling of special cargo (dangerous goods, perishables, valuables, etc.).
• Analyze logistics performance and suggest improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
