FCAT Operations Supervisor (3rd Shift)

Overview

• The Operations Supervisor for Stellantis Transport will be responsible for managing dispatchers and truck drivers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials in a fast-paced unionized environment.
• The Operations Supervisor is responsible for ensuring team safety, allocating manpower and equipment, working with the plants to prioritize deliveries, analyzing shift performance, and implementing process improvements.
• The Operations Supervisor will be cross-trained for the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor position for personal and professional development and to support the Stellantis Transport team environment.
• Additional Job Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
• Ensure customer needs are met, deliveries are timely and plant yards are managed
• Lead team morale
• Problem-solving activities
• Manage employee attendance
• Ensure the right allocation of manpower and equipment

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 2 + years of experience in the trucking industry managing people and processes
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
• Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build effective business relationships with team members, customers, and the Supply Chain Management team
• Excellent supervisory and management skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite software program
