Role overview

Production, quality, and teams

• Plan and coordinate daily and weekly production activities, including cutting, polishing, edging, fabrication, and finishing.
• Monitor output, delivery timelines, customer requirements, machinery utilization, and production downtime.
• Select suitable quantities and quality of material for projects and orders.
• Implement quality standards, inspect products against specifications, and correct defects, rework, and non-conformance.
• Lead production supervisors, operators, technicians, and labor; assign work, monitor performance, and provide training.
• Promote teamwork, discipline, and safety practices across the production floor.

Equipment, inventory, and safety

• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for cutting machines, polishing lines, CNC machines, and other equipment.
• Monitor raw materials, consumables, and tools, including marble blocks, slabs, adhesives, and blades; coordinate replenishment with procurement.
• Choose suitable and economical resources for fabrication.
• Maintain factory safety compliance, implement protocols and training, and keep the work environment clean and safe.

Reporting, costing, and performance

• Report production output, wastage, machine performance, and workforce productivity; recommend efficiency and cost improvements.
• Provide detailed cost estimates for pricing, especially decorative work, and maintain updated standard fabrication costing.
• Estimate production durations for pricing and prepare a detailed production schedule for each awarded project.
• Reduce order-to-delivery cycle time and improve resource utilization, productivity, and customer acquisition.
• Control unit manufacturing costs and waste; reuse, recycle, or resell scrap where feasible.
• Manage equipment readiness and periodic maintenance while reducing maintenance costs.

Requirements

• Oversee the full marble factory production process and material management to meet quality, delivery, safety, and operational standards.
• Lead production supervisors, machine operators, technicians, and labor workforce.
• Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and factory regulations.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and coordinate timely material replenishment with procurement.
• Prepare production reports and provide analysis and recommendations for efficiency and cost reduction.
