Role summary
Manage and maintain the operational efficiency of facility systems and infrastructure.
Support safe, reliable, and efficient facility operations through technical expertise and stakeholder coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily operations and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for equipment performance and longevity.
- Inspect and assess facilities to identify and resolve issues.
- Coordinate facility upgrades, repairs, and renovations with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain maintenance, inventory, and service records.
- Support budgeting, procurement, and resource allocation for facility management.
Qualifications and requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in facility engineering or a related field; construction or infrastructure experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of building HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
- Experience with preventive maintenance planning and facility management software.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
- Problem-solving, organizational, communication, multidisciplinary teamwork, and prioritization skills.
- Familiarity with relevant Saudi Arabian regulations and standards is advantageous.
