Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Writer role based in Zagreb, Croatia.
The Writer will create clear, engaging, and brand-aligned copy for websites, product interfaces, marketing materials, blogs, and case studies.
Day-to-day work includes researching topics and client industries, drafting and revising copy, collaborating with designers and developers to align content with visual concepts, and adapting tone and style to different audiences and channels.
The Writer will also support internal communication needs, contribute to content planning, and ensure all written materials are accurate, consistent, and on time.
Qualifications
- Strong writing skills for digital products and marketing content, including the ability to craft concise, user-focused copy.
- Experience with content planning, storytelling, and structuring complex information in a clear, intuitive way.
- Ability to research unfamiliar topics, interview stakeholders, and translate technical or product details into accessible language.
- High level of accuracy in grammar, style, and spelling, with a meticulous approach to editing and self-review.
- Comfort working closely with designers, developers, and product managers in a collaborative, feedback-driven environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken); Croatian language skills are a plus.
- Previous experience in an agency, product company, or tech environment is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Languages, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
