Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Writer role based in the Greater Bordeaux Metropolitan Area.
The Writer will research topics, draft original content, and revise materials for clarity, tone, and accuracy.
Daily responsibilities include producing articles, marketing copy, and other written materials aligned with project goals and brand guidelines.
The person in this role will collaborate with editors, designers, and other stakeholders to meet deadlines and ensure consistency across deliverables.
The Writer is also expected to manage multiple assignments, incorporate feedback constructively, and maintain high standards of quality in all work.
Qualifications
- Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate content across various formats.
- Demonstrated research abilities, including gathering information from reliable sources and synthesizing complex topics into accessible prose.
- Excellent command of grammar, spelling, and style, with a careful approach to reviewing and refining written work.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in an on-site team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Solid time management and organizational skills, including the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines across multiple projects.
- Proficiency with common writing and editing tools (such as word processing and collaboration software); familiarity with digital publishing platforms is a plus.
- Previous experience in a professional writing, journalism, communications, or content-focused role is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Literature, Journalism, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
