Role overview

Facilities and maintenance

• Oversee daily maintenance and technical condition of offices, facilities, and assigned properties.
• Manage preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance; inspect buildings and systems and resolve recurring issues.
• Track maintenance requests, repairs, inspections, and equipment history; maintain asset registers and schedules.
• Monitor MEP, HVAC, electrical, lighting, water, drainage, pumps, and fire and life safety systems.
• Review faults and recommend repairs, replacements, or lifecycle planning.

Contractors, inspections, and projects

• Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and service providers; monitor performance, workmanship, safety, and service quality.
• Review quotations, proposals, scopes, and recommendations; verify completed work and support vendor evaluation.
• Inspect facilities, identify defects, prepare snagging reports, and follow up until issues are resolved.
• Support handovers, openings, renovations, relocations, fit-outs, refurbishments, and facility improvements.

Health, safety, and compliance

• Ensure maintenance complies with UAE regulations, Abu Dhabi requirements, company policies, and applicable health and safety standards.
• Ensure contractors follow safety procedures and report risks affecting people, tenants, clients, or assets.
• Support fire safety inspections, emergency preparedness, and compliance checks; maintain certificates and technical records.

Cost control and reporting

• Monitor maintenance expenses, review quotations, and assist with annual maintenance budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor utility consumption and recommend ways to reduce energy and water use.
• Prepare maintenance, facility condition, contractor performance, and operational reports.
• Maintain maintenance contracts, warranties, equipment documentation, and service agreements.

Candidate profile

• Strong technical knowledge of building systems and hands-on facilities management experience.
• Ability to coordinate multiple maintenance requirements across different locations.

Operational support

• Respond to urgent technical issues and coordinate immediate corrective action when required.
