Facilities & Assets Supervisor

Purpose

1. Production Equipment Maintenance Supervision

• Supervise daily preventive and corrective maintenance of production machinery and lines across assigned plants.
• Coordinate plant maintenance teams and technicians to execute scheduled and breakdown maintenance.
• Inspect completed repairs and direct rework where quality or safety standards are not met.

2. Facilities & Infrastructure Maintenance Supervision

• Supervise maintenance of buildings, utilities, HVAC, power, and safety systems across assigned sites.
• Assign and monitor work orders for facility maintenance against schedule.
• Verify completion of facility maintenance work and report deficiencies to the Manager.

3. Asset Register & Verification

• Maintain the fixed-asset register by recording additions, transfers, and disposals as they occur.
• Conduct periodic physical asset counts, tag assets, and prepare variance reports for the Manager.
• Prepare asset transfer and disposal documentation for review and approval.

4. Maintenance Scheduling & Work Orders

• Prepare and track preventive maintenance schedules in the CMMS for equipment and facilities.
• Raise, log, and follow up work orders, escalating overdue or recurring faults to the Manager.
• Maintain maintenance history records for each asset and site.

5. Spare Parts & Vendor Coordination

• Monitor maintenance spare-parts levels and raise replenishment requests before stock falls below minimum.
• Coordinate maintenance contractors and OEM technicians on site and verify work is completed per scope.
• Validate vendor service reports and timesheets before submission for payment approval.

6.Policies, Processes & Procedures

• Implement approved departmental policies, processes, procedures, and provide instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner

7.People Management

• Supervise, guide and assist direct reports to perform their daily activities in accordance with the policies and procedures
• Actively participate in on-the-job training, mentoring and coaching of direct reports
• Generate commitment, motivation and enthusiasm to team goals, and guide team members through periods of change or uncertainty
• Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility and monitor the workflow
• Provide opportunities for team members to suggest, participate in and contribute to improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing initiatives
• Ensure the team complies with AGC’s values, policies, processes and systems

8.Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices, taking into account 'international best practice,' improvements of business processes, cost reduction, and productivity improvement

9.Safety, Quality & Environment

• Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
