Teaching responsibilities
- Develop schemes of work and lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives.
- Build relationships with pupils and organize learning resources and the classroom environment.
- Develop children’s skills and social abilities in consideration of age, ability, aptitude, and cultural differences.
- Assess and record progress, prepare pupils for examinations, and use earlier learning to deepen understanding.
- Use engaging teaching to motivate pupils and maintain a healthy learning environment.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related subject.
- At least two years of teaching experience or teaching practice in the subject following the UK National Curriculum.
- UK teaching qualification, such as PGCE or QTS.
- Knowledge of data disaggregation, analysis, student differentiation, and recent safeguarding practices.
- Proven teaching results and ability to use data to monitor and enhance student progress.
