Job Description

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day coordination, technical support and administrative control in respect of the assigned functionality.
• Keep track of operational events and review the issues/concerns about availability, resources and performance of the assigned network.
• Resolve complex issues/concern under minimal supervision.
• Coordinate and supervise on-call attendance and attend emergency duties as required
• Report and review with superiors’ significant events, key/critical observations and concerns to operation & maintenance procedures.
• Provide technical support and training to service partners and service technicians to ensure all are operating with accurate and complete technical data.
• Ensure that all activities are carried out as per the project plan and are compliant with Etisalat standards, procedures, and guidelines
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications
• Prepare and submit the reports on the assigned network/ functionality.
• Document known issues and solutions for issues to provide to the support team and solutions database
• Monitor the work practices/procedures and recommend improvement to enhance productivity, efficiency and quality
• Monitor the performance of suppliers, contractors, vendors & consultants and follow up as required.
• Monitor, review and ensure the required support for introducing new/modified services.
• Coordinate as required with other Engineering sections, contractors and consultants and follow up as required.
• Keep abreast of new technologies, systems and developments in respect of assigned network/ functionality.
• Provide professional guidance and support to subordinates in carrying out the assigned functions.
• Identify training need of subordinates to ensure enhancement of skills.
• Perform any other function assigned as and when required
