Experienced All-Round Kitchen Chef & Senior / Junior Barista

Overview

Chef Responsibilities

• Prepare eggs, french toast, pancakes, sandwiches, salads and simple breakfast dishes
• Bake cakes, cookies, croissants, bread and other baked items
• Prepare simple lunch items and café food
• Manage kitchen stock, ingredients and ordering
• Monitor expiry dates and maintain proper food storage
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
• Follow recipes and maintain food quality
• Work well during busy periods

Chef Requirements

• Strong experience in café kitchens, baking and breakfast preparation
• Able to work independently
• Experience with cakes, bread, pastries and simple hot food
• Able to manage kitchen stock and ingredient ordering
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene
• Already based in Abu Dhabi is preferred

Senior Barista Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee, tea, iced drinks and other beverages
• Operate and maintain coffee machines
• Train and support junior baristas
• Maintain drink quality and consistency
• Manage barista stock, syrups, milk, cups, coffee beans and other supplies
• Help with ordering and monitoring stock levels
• Serve customers at the table when needed
• Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service

Senior Barista Requirements

• Previous experience as a barista
• Good latte art and coffee knowledge
• Able to work independently
• Able to train junior staff
• Able to manage stock and supplies for the coffee bar
• Friendly and professional attitude
• Good customer service skills

Junior Barista Responsibilities

• Support senior baristas
• Prepare basic drinks
• Help with cleaning and restocking
• Serve customers at the table when needed
• Take customer orders
• Learn coffee preparation and customer service
• Assist during busy periods

Junior Barista Requirements

• Basic café or barista experience is preferred
• Willing to learn and grow
• Good attitude and teamwork skills
• Friendly and presentable
• Pay: From AED2,500.00 per month
• Ability to commute/relocate:
• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
