The Executive Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef in leading culinary operations across hotel restaurants, in-room dining, and specialty outlets.
The role oversees food quality, creativity, consistency, kitchen teams, cost control, food safety, and guest dining experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with kitchen operations and daily culinary activities.
- Develop menus, seasonal offerings, and signature dishes.
- Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and taste across venues.
- Lead, train, mentor, and motivate culinary colleagues.
- Maintain HACCP, sanitation, food-safety, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor costs, inventory, purchasing, and food waste.
- Partner with marketing on promotions, special dining events, and guest experiences.
- Engage guests, respond to special requests, and improve dining experiences.
- Improve operational efficiency while maintaining luxury hospitality standards.
Qualifications
- Bring 5–7 years of senior culinary leadership experience in a luxury hotel, fine-dining, or Michelin-starred restaurant.
- Have strong expertise in international cuisine and modern culinary techniques.
- Have leadership, communication, organizational, and team-management skills.
- Know HACCP, food safety, inventory control, and cost management.
- Show a commitment to innovation, guest satisfaction, and culinary excellence.
