The Sales Executive - Joinery Workshop is responsible for driving business development and revenue growth within the joinery and fit-out market by implementing targeted sales strategies.
This role involves analyzing market trends, identifying new business opportunities, and developing tailored proposals that align with clients' design and construction goals.
The executive will collaborate with internal departments -including production, design, and project management – to deliver high-quality joinery solutions and foster long-term client partnerships
Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the joinery and fit-out sector, including lead generation, site visits, networking, and attendance at industry exhibitions and trade events.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, interior designers, architects, real estate developers, and direct end clients. Understand project requirements and recommend appropriate joinery solutions.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Proposal & Quotation Development: Prepare and present detailed proposals, quotations, and pricing options to clients. Negotiate terms and close sales contracts for custom joinery, fit-out works, and workshop services.
- Collaboration: Liaise with the workshop production team, designers, and project managers to ensure accurate scoping, feasible timelines, and seamless service delivery.
- Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, material innovations, customer preferences, and the competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and identify potential markets.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts. Prepare regular reports for management on sales performance, opportunities, and client feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in joinery, interior fit-out, construction materials, or a related industry
