Executive Pastry Chef - Kuwait

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead daily pastry and bakery operations across assigned outlets or concepts; create and develop menus and seasonal specials across desserts, cakes, pastries, breads, and chocolates.
• Ensure product standards and consistency in taste, quality, portioning, decoration, and presentation.
• Supervise, train, and motivate the team; oversee production planning, mise en place, storage, stock rotation, and service readiness.
• Support bulk production for events, catering, displays, and high-volume operations; monitor food cost, inventory, ordering, wastage, and portion control.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and HACCP standards; introduce creative concepts while maintaining efficient operations.
• Coordinate with relevant teams, maintain pastry equipment and work areas, and support operational improvements and production consistency.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Executive Pastry Chef, Head Pastry Chef, Pastry Chef, or similar senior pastry leader; strong experience in restaurants, hospitality groups, hotels, luxury cafés, or high-volume F&B.
• Solid knowledge of pastry, bakery, desserts, cakes, chocolates, plated desserts, and production planning.
• Bulk production and multi-outlet pastry support experience is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, team-management, and training skills; understanding of food cost, inventory, portion control, and wastage reduction.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen compliance; creative, organized, detail-oriented, and quality-focused.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment; professional attitude, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• International hospitality or multi-outlet experience is advantageous; willingness to relocate to Kuwait.
