Position overview

Responsibilities

• Resolve guest calls, requests, or problems by contacting appropriate departments.
• Use sales techniques, including upselling, to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty; provide appropriate guest complimentary items or rewards.
• Promote the brand and process Marriott Rewards redemption requests.
• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail; enter rewards information when taking reservations.
• Answer, record, and process guest calls, requests, questions, and concerns.
• Perform office support for Sales and Marketing, including filing, email, typing, and faxing.
• Assist management with training and motivating employees; serve as a role model.
• Follow company policies, maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information, and safeguard company assets.
• Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, communicate professionally, maintain working relationships, and support quality standards.
• Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors; role may require moving or carrying items weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Preferred qualifications

• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is specified; no license or certification is listed.

Schedule and workplace

• Full-time role at The St. Regis Residence, Marsa Arabia Island, Doha 14875, Qatar.
