Strong background in international cuisines, staff training, and restaurant profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily restaurant kitchen operations efficiently.
- Create and develop innovative restaurant menus and special dishes.
- Supervise food preparation, cooking, and presentation standards.
- Ensure consistent food quality and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor food cost, portion control, and inventory management.
- Train, lead, and motivate kitchen staff and junior chefs.
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards according to HACCP regulations.
- Coordinate with restaurant management for smooth operations.
- Handle supplier purchasing and kitchen budgeting.
- Introduce seasonal menus and improve restaurant performance.
- Ensure timely food delivery during busy restaurant hours.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in restaurant kitchens.
- Previous experience as Executive Chef or Sous Chef preferred.
- Strong knowledge of international and fusion cuisines.
- Experience in fine dining or casual dining restaurants.
- Excellent leadership and kitchen management skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Culinary diploma or chef certification is an advantage.
- Good communication skills in English.
