About This Role
Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Estimator with a strong background in the interior fit-out industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, conducting detailed cost analysis, and supporting the commercial team in securing profitable projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out projects.
- Analyze drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project documents.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and pricing of materials, labor, and subcontract works.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Perform cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project budgets.
- Prepare tender submissions, commercial proposals, and cost breakdowns.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams during the estimation process.
- Assess project risks and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain updated cost databases and market price references.
- Support post-award activities, including budget handover to project teams.
& Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
- Minimum 3-6 years of experience in interior fit-out estimation.
- Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, joinery, and MEP coordination in fit-out projects.
- Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tender deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in handling high-value commercial and residential fit-out projects.
- Knowledge of local market rates and suppliers.
- Strong understanding of contracts and commercial terms.
