Prepare detailed and accurate BOQs, quotations, and cost estimates for interior fit-out projects.
Work with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to support accurate tender submissions and cost-effective project solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare BOQs and quotations for materials, labor, and project components based on drawings and specifications.
- Calculate material, labor, and other resource costs to produce competitive, realistic estimates.
- Prepare tender documentation, project scopes, and cost breakdowns in coordination with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Take off quantities and measurements from project drawings, capturing all elements in estimates.
- Obtain supplier and subcontractor prices, quotations, and lead times and include them in estimates.
- Support cost control throughout projects and identify cost savings without compromising quality.
- Maintain estimation records and assist with reporting project costs and progress.
Qualifications and experience
- At least five years of interior fit-out estimation experience, including preparation of BOQs, quotations, and cost estimates.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in estimation software such as AutoCAD, PlanSwift, or other relevant measurement and estimation tools.
- Strong understanding of fit-out construction methods, materials, and cost management.
- High accuracy in measurements, take-offs, and estimates; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- UAE market experience is preferred; a valid UAE driving license is a plus.
