The vacancy is for an Estimation Engineer in Oil & Gas.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with strong relevant experience.
- Minimum 8 years of experience as an Estimation Engineer or Proposal Engineer in Oil & Gas construction companies.
- Experience estimating costs for piping and structural steel fabrication and erection, and equipment erection.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, labor productivity, cost estimation, and quantity take-offs.
- Ability to prepare technical and commercial proposals, MTOs, man-hour estimates, and bulk quantity assessments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and general arrangement drawings.
- Excellent analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with the local Oil & Gas market is preferred.
- Immediate availability to join is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Estimate costs for piping and structural steel fabrication and erection, and equipment erection.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
- Prepare MTOs, man-hour estimates, and bulk quantity assessments.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and assess construction methods and labor productivity for estimates.
- Interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and general arrangement drawings to support estimation work.
