ERP Business Analyst

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder meetings and workshops.
• Reconcile conflicting requirements and distinguish user requests from underlying business needs.
• Analyze and improve existing business processes.
• Identify ERP system gaps and recommend solutions for changing business needs.
• Maintain requirements, specifications, process flows, use cases, test cases, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate business and IT stakeholders on requirements, priorities, and deliverables.
• Develop test plans, coordinate testing, validate systems, and support UAT.
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer to users and support teams.
• Provide post-implementation support and Tier 3 troubleshooting for Infor LN and other ERP applications.

Critical capabilities and qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or college diploma in a technical discipline related to Engineering or IT.
• At least three years of experience working with Infor LN.
• Four or more years as a technical business analyst or application specialist is preferred.
• Four or more years of process improvement, data, or technology project experience is an asset.
• Hands-on Infor LN support and administration experience, including advanced troubleshooting and configuration.
• Advanced business process knowledge in one or more of Finance, Discrete Manufacturing, Engineer-to-Order Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or Service Management.
• Understanding of SDLC methodologies and business analysis best practices, plus experience with Agile and project delivery methodologies.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Experience with Infor Baan IV, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, or ProAlpha is an asset.
• Strong communication, facilitation, organization, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation

• The stated pay range is CAD 95,000 to CAD 120,000; no pay cadence is specified.
