ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs preventative maintenance on heavy and light equipment Makes small repairs of equipment Prepares new equipment for service Makes service/recovery calls Maintains parking lot and fuel island area Shuttles vehicles and equipment to local shops Maintains Fuel Island and equipment including cleaning and maintain vacuum system Mounts and balances all size tires using tire changing and balancing machines Inspects brakes, front and rear suspensions, steering systems, exhaust system, lighting systems, etc. for wear condition Assists other mechanics with equipment repairs Performs related work as required

Position Duties

• High school diploma (or GED equivalent) --AND-- At least one (1) year of related work experience in the servicing of light and heavy equipment --OR-- Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities Required Licenses or Certifications Valid Michigan Driver's License A Valid Michigan Commercial Driver's License Class A with Air Brakes and N Endorsement or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment Please Note: This position is 2nd Shift. Hours: 2:00 pm to 12:00 AM, Days: Four, 10 hour work days. A schedule of Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday will be assiged.
