The Entry-Level Application Systems Analyst provides foundational support for application systems.
The role focuses on developing technical and analytical skills in application management.
Essential duties
- Assist with analyzing and resolving basic application issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
- Provide primary application support as experience progresses and monitor applications for performance issues.
- Collaborate with team members, including in vendor relationships, and communicate application issues effectively.
- Document workflows, configurations, and issue resolutions according to standards.
- Develop application management and problem-solving skills.
- Perform minor system configurations and support system upgrades.
Work experience
- Required: Exposure to IT support or customer service.
- Preferred: Experience in application management and troubleshooting.
Education and skills
- High school diploma plus at least 3 years of application analysis experience; or an associate degree in computer science, IT, or a related field plus at least 1 year; or a bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective communication and documentation skills.
