We are currently seeking an experienced Environmental Officer for a reputed client in Qatar.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in environmental management, compliance monitoring, and site supervision, particularly on Ashghal projects, ensuring all environmental requirements are effectively implemented and maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor environmental management plans and site environmental procedures
- Manage and maintain Construction Environmental and Social Management Plans (CESMP)
- Conduct environmental inspections, audits, and compliance assessments
- Prepare environmental reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project requirements
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and regulatory authorities on environmental matters
- Identify environmental risks and recommend corrective actions
- Support environmental awareness programs and training initiatives on site
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Ashghal project experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in environmental management and site supervision
- Experience in CESMP implementation, reporting, inspections, and compliance monitoring
- Degree, Diploma, or Certification in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, or related field
- Strong technical understanding of environmental regulations, sustainability practices, and site execution standards
- Excellent reporting, communication, and coordination skills
Requirements
- Must have a valid QID (Qatar ID)
- Currently based in Qatar preferred
- Immediate joiners preferred
