We are currently hiring an experienced Planner (Services) for a leading Oil & Gas client in Qatar.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in maintenance planning, shutdown coordination, procurement support, and refinery/petrochemical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage maintenance and shutdown schedules
- Plan manpower, materials, tools, and resources for service activities
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, procurement, and contractors
- Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Support procurement activities and contract coordination
- Generate planning reports, KPIs, and progress updates
- Optimize maintenance strategies to reduce downtime
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
Skills and Qualifications
- Engineering Degree or Diploma
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry
- Experience in refinery / petrochemical maintenance
- Minimum 3 years in shutdown / maintenance planning
- Strong knowledge of procurement and contracts
- Hands-on experience in SAP (PM/MM)
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic Primavera P6
- Strong coordination and analytical skills
