Role overview

What you’ll be doing

• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, reports, and technical documentation required for procurement and construction.
• Perform engineering calculations, material quantity take-offs, estimates, surveys, and environmental designs according to project requirements.
• Prepare equipment and material requisitions and support procurement.
• Review supplier drawings and technical submittals and assist in technical bid evaluations.
• Provide technical support to CAD designers, drafters, and junior engineers, ensuring compliance with project standards and procedures.
• Prepare and issue specifications, data sheets, and construction-related documents.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, and suppliers to support delivery.
• Support environmental engineering activities during design, construction, and operational phases.

Required skills and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• One or more years of relevant engineering experience; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Candidate must be a UAE national.
• Working knowledge of CAD and commonly used engineering design and analysis software.
• Ability to perform calculations and technical reviews and prepare engineering documents.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to collaborate across disciplines and manage multiple assignments.
• EIT Certification or another relevant professional certification is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to project, client, supplier, or construction-site locations when required.

• The role is identified as a site position in Abu Dhabi, UAE and may require travel or relocation to project, client, supplier, or construction-site locations.
