Overview
- Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations, permits, and company policies
- Monitor air emissions, wastewater, waste disposal, and chemical handling
- Prepare environmental reports, permits, and documentation for audits and authorities
- Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
- Monitor and report on energy consumption, emissions water usage, and waste generation
- Support carbon footprint calculations and sustainability initiatives
- Identify opportunities to reduce emissions, energy usage, and environmental impact
- Contribute to ESG reporting and environmental performance tracking
- Analyze manufacturing processes to improve energy efficiency, reduce waste, and conserve water
- Support implementation of sustainable materials and cleaner production technologies
- Evaluate environmental impact of new processes, products, and equipment
- Assist in life cycle assessments (LCA) and material flow analysis
- Support waste management programs (hazardous and non-hazardous)
- Monitor wastewater treatment and ensure discharge compliance
- Assist in managing air emission control systems
- Drive initiatives to reduce waste and improve recycling rates
- Conduct internal environmental audits and support external inspections
- Maintain accurate environmental records and reports
- Investigate environmental incidents and recommend corrective actions
