About Amaya
Amaya is the institutional intelligence layer for the AI era.
The platform on which AI-era rating, benchmark, and data infrastructure is built.
Our flagship product, the AI Durability Index (ADI), measures structural survivability of companies operating in AI-disrupted markets.
Traditional valuation metrics (revenue growth, margin, market share) are lagging indicators from a pre-AI economy.
Amaya rates what institutional capital actually needs to underwrite: which businesses survive the transformation, and which are perfect products in dying chains.
Amaya is a YVL Capital studio company.
YVL is studio investor, first customer, and operating partner.
The methodology is pressure-tested daily against live institutional capital, on real deals.
The product roadmap extends to ADI Watch, ADI Sovereign, Amaya Portfolio, Amaya Chain, Amaya Sector Benchmarks, the Amaya 500 investable index, Amaya Feed, Amaya Verified, and Amaya Sovereign Reports.
About YVL Capital Partners: Venture Capital and Venture Studio
YVL Capital Partners is a hybrid venture capital fund and venture studio.
Fund I is a $50M vehicle deploying approximately checks across 30 to 40 companies over an 24 to 36 month deployment window, on a 50% UAE, 50% Global mandate.
We operate two tracks under one investment thesis.
The Venture Capital track invests in founder-led companies that pass our diligence gates.
The Venture Studio track builds companies inside the firm, capitalizes them from the fund, places operating teams inside them, and graduates them when product, revenue, and team are durable.
Amaya is a Studio company.
YVL is its studio investor, first customer, and operating partner.
The EIR program is the Studio’s operator pipeline.
EIRs join with founder economics, build alongside the partners, and earn promotion into the permanent CEO seat by execution.
This is a CEO track role with a defined path.
It is not a permanent EIR seat.
What You Will Own
You are the commercial operator for Amaya.
From day one, you carry the revenue plan, the customer relationships, and the institutional credibility of the franchise.
Core mandate:
1. **Revenue.**
Build and continue closing the first cohort of paying customers for ADI, ADI Watch, and the Amaya Feed.
Targets include sovereign wealth offices, pension funds, endowments, private equity, venture capital firms, hedge funds, family offices, allocators, asset managers, banks, insurance and reinsurance carriers, index providers, corporate development teams at AI buyers, and selected regulators.
You own pipeline, pricing, contracts, and renewal.
2. **Distribution.**
Stand up the institutional GTM motion.
Channel relationships with leading financial data terminals and research platforms for Amaya Feed.
Direct enterprise sales for Amaya Enterprise.
Co-marketing and co-selling alongside YVL deal flow.
3. **Voice of Amaya.**
Represent Amaya in front of LPs, allocators, regulators, conferences, and press.
The CEO seat is a public seat.
You will be expected to carry it.
4. **Methodology fluency.**
ADI is a rating, not a SaaS tool.
You must internalize the twelve-dimension scoring model, the circuit-breaker logic, and the methodology to a level where you can defend it against an institutional credit committee.
Deep training is provided.
5. **Founding team build.**
Hire the first commercial team.
Sales, BD, customer success, and analyst coverage.
You will recruit the people who report to you when you take the CEO seat.
6. **Operating discipline.**
Weekly metrics with the Studio.
Quarterly board cadence.
Run the company like an institutional product, because that is what we are selling.
CEO Track and Promotion Path
The role is structured as a 12-month EIR engagement followed by formal promotion to Chief Executive Officer of Amaya, contingent on hitting a defined set of commercial and operational milestones agreed with the Studio at hire.
Promotion includes founder-grade equity refresh, full P&L authority, and a permanent board seat.
The Studio commits to making the promotion decision on a fixed timeline.
We do not run open-ended EIR engagements.
Compensation
- Competitive base salary, calibrated against two reference points: senior commercial leadership in the institutional data and ratings sector, and venture studio operating-CEO comp models. The result is a package that pays you fairly for the seat you are taking while preserving the equity upside that defines the founder track.
- Founder-grade equity in Amaya (common stock, vesting schedule, one-year cliff, with an additional CEO-promotion grant on appointment). Final equity range disclosed at offer stage; this is a founder package, not an employee package.
- Performance cash bonus tied to first-cohort commercial milestones.
- Standard benefits per YVL portfolio policy.
What We Are Looking For
- *Required*
- Active relationships and direct working experience with the buyer set. Candidates must arrive with a working network across venture capital, private equity, sovereign wealth, pensions, endowments, family offices, allocators, asset managers, hedge funds, banks, insurance and reinsurance carriers, index providers, corporate development teams at AI buyers, and selected regulators. The relationship base is the role. Candidates without prior investment, advisory, or commercial experience involving these institutions will not be considered.
- Senior commercial leadership at institutional financial infrastructure, ratings, indices, or market data businesses. Prior roles at firms such as MSCI, S&P, Moody’s, Fitch, Bloomberg, FactSet, PitchBook, Preqin, or peer institutional data and analytics businesses are directly relevant.
- Demonstrable track record of carrying and exceeding an enterprise revenue number against institutional buyers. We will reference-check this.
- A hands-on commercial leadership style. Comfortable personally carrying senior customer relationships and originating early revenue while building and scaling the commercial organization.
- Comfort in front of allocators, sovereigns, and regulators. Calm under institutional scrutiny.
- Operator-founder orientation. Motivated by the opportunity to build, lead, and own a category-defining institutional franchise rather than by title or seniority.
- Geographic priority markets include Silicon Valley, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, New York, London, and Singapore. Willingness to spend material time in Dubai during the EIR phase is required given the Studio’s GCC anchor.
- *Strongly Preferred*
- Direct relationships across sovereign wealth, family office, allocator, venture capital, private equity, and institutional capital communities in our priority geographies (Silicon Valley, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, New York, London, and Singapore).
- Working knowledge of AI market dynamics. You do not need to be a researcher. You do need to be conversant.
- Experience launching a new institutional product category (a new index, a new rating, a new benchmark) where the buyer education curve is part of the sale.
