Enterprise architecture and strategy

• Translate business strategy and capability priorities into target-state enterprise architectures.
• Develop architecture visions, principles, roadmaps, transition states, and investment recommendations.
• Assess the application and technology estate for duplication, constraints, risk, and technical debt.
• Define standards and reusable patterns across applications, data, integration, security, and cloud.
• Ensure designs support long-term operating-model and business outcomes.

Dynamics 365 and Power Platform

• Own enterprise architecture for Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform adoption.
• Guide architecture across Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, Customer Insights, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Copilot Studio.
• Lead decisions on whether to configure, extend, integrate, build, or retire; maximise standard capability while controlling customisation.
• Define environment, tenant, security, governance, and Application Lifecycle Management strategies.

Application and integration architecture

• Define integrations with ERP, digital, contact-centre, marketing, identity, data, and line-of-business platforms.
• Establish API-led, event-driven, batch, and real-time integration patterns; guide Azure Integration Services, APIs, middleware, and enterprise integration platforms.
• Set expectations for resilience, observability, performance, failure handling, and ownership.
• Define system-of-record, master-data, and data-responsibility boundaries.

Data, AI, and analytics architecture

• Define data architecture across Dataverse, enterprise data platforms, reporting, and analytics services.
• Support customer, reference, and master-data strategies, including quality, lineage, retention, and access.
• Evaluate Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure AI, Copilot, and agent capabilities within the enterprise landscape.
• Ensure AI-enabled solutions have appropriate grounding, security, privacy, oversight, and governance.

Role requirements

• Experienced Technical Enterprise Architect with architectural leadership across complex transformation programmes involving Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Platform, and enterprise application landscapes.
• Awareness of non-Microsoft platforms so recommendations reflect client outcomes and the existing technology estate.
