Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced, customer-facing Enterprise Architect with deep Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle EBS R12 Techno-Functional expertise to lead the delivery of complex implementation and integration engagements.
This role sits within our Professional Services organization and serves as the primary technical and functional bridge between our customers and our internal delivery teams.
You will operate at an enterprise architect level — guiding customers through the end-to-end integration of their Oracle Fusion Cloud or Oracle EBS R12 environments with our ONESOURCE suite of products, including Indirect Tax Determination and Pagero E-Invoicing.
Beyond delivery, you will play an active role in shaping how we win and scope new business — contributing directly to pre-sales pursuits, solution design, and commercial effort estimation.
This is a senior individual contributor role with no direct reports.
You will be expected to work autonomously, bring deep Oracle domain knowledge, and deliver high-quality outcomes across both Indirect Tax and E-Invoicing engagements.
About The Role
As an Enterprise Architect, you will:
Technical & Functional Advisory (Customer-Facing)
- Serve as the Oracle subject matter expert and trusted advisor for customers, leading discovery, scoping, and solution design sessions across Indirect Tax and E-Invoicing engagements.
- Assess the customer's Oracle Fusion Cloud or EBS R12 landscape, covering modules such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Procurement, and Order Management, and map P2P and O2C processes to integration and compliance requirements.
- Provide enterprise architect-level guidance on integrating Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle EBS R12 with ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Determination and Pagero E-Invoicing solutions.
- Advise customers on Oracle integration architecture options including REST/SOAP APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SFTP, HTTPS, and middleware-based approaches.
- Lead technical discussions on Oracle data structures, data formats (XML, JSON, CSV, EDI), and key data requirements with customer IT and ERP teams.
- Explain Oracle Fusion Tax (EBTax), indirect tax flows (VAT, GST, Withholding Tax), and country-specific e-invoicing compliance requirements in clear business and technical terms.
- Guide customers on Oracle Fusion Cloud and EBS R12 technical components including SQL, PL/SQL, Packages, Procedures, Functions, APIs, and relevant integration touchpoints.
- Coordinate with customer IT teams on integration architecture, technical prerequisites, security considerations, and go-live readiness.
Solutioning & Pre-Sales
- Engage actively in pre-sales pursuits as the primary Oracle technical and functional authority — leading solution presentations, product demonstrations, and technical deep-dives with prospective customers.
- Own the end-to-end solutioning process for Oracle-related opportunities: translating customer requirements into clearly defined solution architectures, integration approaches, and implementation roadmaps.
- Develop and present compelling solution proposals that articulate the value, scope, and technical approach of proposed engagements to both business and IT stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to shape responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other competitive bids involving Oracle Fusion Cloud and EBS R12 environments.
- Conduct customer discovery workshops during the pre-sales phase to identify integration complexity, technical risks, and solution fit.
- Build and maintain reusable pre-sales assets including solution blueprints, reference architectures, and demo environments tailored to Oracle Fusion and EBS scenarios.
Pricing & Effort Estimation
- Lead the effort estimation and scoping process for Oracle integration and implementation engagements, producing detailed, defensible work breakdown structures (WBS) and resource plans.
- Define engagement scope boundaries clearly, identifying in-scope and out-of-scope activities to support accurate commercial proposals and minimize delivery risk.
- Translate solution designs into costed delivery models, working with Practice and Commercial leadership to develop pricing that reflects both effort and risk.
- Identify and document delivery assumptions, dependencies, and risk factors that underpin effort estimates and feed into contract and SOW development.
- Continuously refine estimation models and benchmarks based on delivery outcomes, contributing to a library of estimation references for Oracle engagements.
Subject Matter Expertise & Practice Contribution
- Act as the internal Oracle SME on integration patterns, indirect tax implementation, and e-invoicing compliance across Oracle Fusion Cloud and EBS R12.
- Contribute to the development of delivery frameworks, reusable solution templates, and best practices for Oracle-related engagements.
- Stay current with the latest Oracle Fusion Cloud and EBS R12 functionalities, patches, and industry best practices.
- Stay informed about evolving global tax regulations (VAT, GST, e-invoicing mandates) and their impact on Oracle ERP environments.
- Provide informal mentoring and knowledge-sharing to less experienced consultants on Oracle Techno-Functional topics.
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Enterprise Architect if your background includes:
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related field.

- Demonstrated enterprise architect-level expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle EBS R12 — able to design, advise, and govern complex integration solutions independently.
- Strong technical skills across Oracle Fusion and EBS, including:
- + SQL, PL/SQL, Packages, Procedures, and Functions
- + Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware integration
- + Oracle Fusion Technical components (BIP Reports, FBDI, HDL, Web Services)
- + Oracle EBS R12 Technical components (Interfaces, APIs, Concurrent Programs, Workflows)
- Deep functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion Tax (EBTax) and indirect tax implementation (VAT, GST, Withholding Tax).
- Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud and EBS R12 architecture, including P2P and O2C cycle configurations.
- Solid experience integrating Oracle ERP with external third-party platforms, including end-to-end integration delivery and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of integration technologies and data formats including APIs, HTTPS, SFTP, XML, JSON, CSV, and EDI.
- Proven experience in pre-sales solutioning, including leading customer-facing solution presentations, scoping workshops, and RFP responses.
- Demonstrated ability to produce detailed effort estimates, work breakdown structures, and commercial proposals for Oracle integration and implementation engagements.
- Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to translate complex Oracle technical concepts for both business and IT stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage delivery governance, project artifacts, and stakeholder communications autonomously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience integrating Oracle Fusion Cloud and EBS R12 with external Indirect Tax determination software such as ONESOURCE, Vertex, or Avalara, or E-Invoicing software like Pagero.
- Prior experience with e-invoicing implementations, tax compliance, or regulatory reporting programs involving Oracle ERP.
- Understanding of international and regional tax regulations and e-invoicing mandates across multiple geographies (e.g., GCC VAT, EU e-invoicing, GST regimes).
- Oracle certification in Financials, Integration Cloud, or related modules.
- Experience working with global customers and distributed stakeholders across time zones.
- Experience shaping the strategic direction of a client's ERP and compliance landscape, including change management advisory.
- Familiarity with commercial constructs such as T&M, fixed-price, and milestone-based engagement models.
Key Competencies
