The Engineering Technician maintains and repairs waterpark facilities, equipment, and water systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair facilities-management equipment, buildings, fire and life safety systems, water features, activities, slides, and pools.
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime and disruption.
- Read manuals, drawings, and work orders; diagnose problems, repair or replace parts, and test, troubleshoot, and adjust equipment.
- Monitor and maintain filtration, chemical dosing, and circulation equipment to support safe water quality.
- Complete preventive maintenance on schedule and record work in the computerized maintenance management system.
Qualifications
- Diploma or technical certification in mechanical, electrical, electromechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least two years of maintenance experience in waterparks, swimming pool systems, hospitality facilities, or similar environments.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and water treatment systems, including pumps, motors, filtration equipment, and control panels.
- Understanding of safety procedures and regulatory requirements; ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Ability to work rotational shifts when required and outdoors throughout the shift in varying weather conditions.

- Perform maintenance to high safety standards and comply with international water safety regulations and local authority guidelines.
- The role requires outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
