Engineering Services During Construction Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field with 6+ years of relevant experience supporting engineering or contract administration activities during construction on complex infrastructure or building projects.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for registration in BC.
• 12+ years of engineering or construction-phase support experience on major infrastructure projects.
• Understanding and able to manage the processing of SQs, NCRs, construction submittals, and other construction-phase technical documentation.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and coordinating between design and construction teams.
• Understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and constructability considerations.
• Lead and manage the ESDC services providing engineering support across stations, guideway, and PPS during construction.
• Manage and coordinate design team field presence requirements to fulfill professional obligations.
• Experience delivering projects using Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, Alliance, or P3 delivery models.
• Experience working and leading teams in an engineering consultancy environment.
• Experience supporting contract administration or engineering services during construction on complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams during construction.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
