Our Client is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Engineering & Design function and drive technical excellence across shipbuilding, vessel conversion, and marine repair projects.
š¹ Lead and manage multidisciplinary engineering teams covering hull, structural, mechanical, electrical, piping, and outfitting disciplines.
š¹ Oversee end-to-end engineering delivery, ensuring technical quality, schedule adherence, and compliance with project requirements.
š¹ Act as the primary technical authority for design reviews, drawing approvals, and engineering submissions to clients and classification societies.
š¹ Manage plan approvals and regulatory compliance with DNV, ABS, BV, LR, SOLAS, MARPOL, and other international marine standards.
š¹ Collaborate with clients, surveyors, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver innovative and practical engineering solutions.
š¹ Support commercial activities through technical input for tenders, RFQs, cost estimates, variation orders, and project planning.
š¹ Drive engineering team development, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
š¹ Ideal candidates will bring 15+ years of shipbuilding, marine engineering, or vessel conversion experience, with strong leadership capabilities and expertise in classification society approvals.
