Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for an Engineering Manager with Bright Future Initiatives-Rwanda.
The Engineering Manager will oversee and lead engineering projects, manage and mentor teams, and ensure the successful delivery of software development and integration projects.
Day-to-day responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and executing engineering tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing best practices to meet organizational objectives.
The role is designed to support the organization's community-focused and transformative initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Engineering Management and Team Leadership to oversee and guide technical teams effectively.
- Proficiency in Software Development, including understanding software design, coding, and troubleshooting.
- Strong Project Management and Integration skills to manage timelines, deliverables, and systems connectivity across projects.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and adaptability in a remote environment.
- Experience in community-centric or education-focused projects is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
