Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial plans aligned with company objectives and identify growth opportunities.
• Research markets, assess risks and opportunities, and plan expansion and business development.
• Acquire customers, understand client needs, and maintain client relationships.
• Coordinate with marketing, sales, customer service, and other teams to meet commercial objectives.
• Build profitable stakeholder partnerships; track performance and report to senior management.
• Assist with financial targets and budgets, and monitor financial performance.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of experience in the Mining & Metals sector.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams of 5–30 and coaching managers, technical leaders, and engineering professionals.
• Experience with large-scale industrial, mining, mineral processing, or metals projects, including international or global project execution.
• Strategic mindset, commercial awareness, organizational and leadership skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Engineering degree, or bachelor's degree in business administration or finance; a master's degree is an asset.
