Engineer II

Role Overview

Your Role

• Undertake design using relevant standards and codes and maintain high-quality outputs.
• Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and bid proposal inputs.
• Manage time and budgets against project milestones and programmes.
• Work with Canadian and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Follow design quality assurance standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering is required.
• At least 4 years of drainage and utilities experience is required.
• Experience with wet utilities design for stormwater, foul water, potable water, and TSE systems is required.
• Experience on major infrastructure projects through master plan, concept, and detailed design stages is required.
• Canadian work experience is desired, and familiarity with Canadian standards is required.

Technical Skills

• Experience with PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, InfoWorks, or similar water design software is required.
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads, and BIM or information management platforms is required.
• The role requires communication, presentation, influencing, independent working, and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
• Working toward PE, ICE, CIWEM, or equivalent chartership is preferred.
