Engineer I

To perform less complex and routine of required inspect, maintain and repair the aircraft.

Primary duties are phase inspections.

Performs crew chief duties and all aspects of both phase and flight line Airframe and Powerplant General Maintenance.

Perform O, I and D Level when its applicable.

Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.

2.

Service aircraft and perform all aspects of ground handling, aircraft configuration and maintaining support equipment and special tools.

3.

Perform on and off equipment inspections, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.

4.

Conducts effective OJT to qualify a cadre of assigned RAFO maintenance personnel to assume responsibility for the maintenance organization as directed by RAFO Headquarters.

5.

Perform in the capacity of instructor, OJT trainer, Quality Assurance, phase dock chief and shop chief.

6.

Work closely with RAFO Trade Manager, supporting all required scheduled and unscheduled maintenance working both Phase and Flight line maintenance tasks.

7.

Oversee and accept the work performed by RAFO Engineering.

8.

Debrief Aircrews Perform Launch and Recovery and EOR.

9.

Supervising functions such as performing or supervising functions involving installation, repair, testing, or modification of aircraft.

10.

Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

11.

Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

12.

Perform other related duties or assignments as directed

Bachelor, Higher Diploma or diploma or skill level 5 certified in respective trade.

Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience within maintenance operations area at an Airbase.

Knowledge of aircraft launching and recovering processes

Knowledge of basic maintenance processes and procedures

Understanding of aircraft structure, components, troubleshooting, wiring system and functions. etc.
