Job Purpose
The role plans and coordinates pressure pumping activities and reviews drilling operational and engineering processes and reports.
The role coordinates daily pressure pumping operations, budget preparation, expenditure control, and variance justification.
Wellsite Operations
- Provide advice and direction to external customers and third-party wellsite colleagues.
- Resolve complex wellsite problems using operational data and broad product-line knowledge.
- Track sand and chemicals to ensure proper customer delivery.
- Operate the engineering station to monitor pressure and fracturing fluids in real time, record data, produce reports and charts, and set up jobs.
- Record all events at the location in an operational log.
Quality and Reporting
- Conduct quality assurance checks for chemical calibration tests.
- Maintain sand and chemical inventories and oversee quality assurance and quality control of fluids, chemicals, and sand.
- Produce customer invoices after each operational stage.
- Complete post-hydraulic fracturing reports and assist with plans, calculations, and other reporting.
Equipment and Compliance
- Assist with equipment maintenance and rig-up and rig-down processes.
- Comply with UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling, and client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice.
- Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
- BSc in an engineering discipline or an equivalent qualification.
- Six years of field experience in pressure pumping.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Good computer knowledge.
