Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college, with courses in business or public administration, human resources, and labor relations. Requires prior experience equivalent to three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative experience in human resources. Requires two (2) years of professional experience planning, executing and evaluating employee services/career services programs. Preferred Qualifications
- Prefers two (2) years of supervisory experience. Prefers two (2) years of experience providing state travel rule interpretations. Prefers working knowledge of federal drug and alcohol testing regulations for safety sensitive positions. Prefers working knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Illinois Department of Labor, Division of Occupational Safety and Health (IL OSHA) standards to ensure safe and healthy working conditions in a transportation setting. Prefers advanced skill in the utilization of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Forms). Prefer advanced skill in the utilization of collaboration tools such as SharePoint. Conditions of Employment Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties, with overnight stays as appropriate. Requires appropriate, valid driver’s license. Requires completion of a background check and self-disclosure of criminal history.
