The Employee Relations Manager promotes positive workplace relationships, employee engagement, and organizational culture.
The role involves handling sensitive situations with sound judgment, discretion, and a constructive approach.
Responsibilities
- Develop employee relations strategies and address workplace concerns.
- Support fair and consistent policies and communication between employees and management.
- Handle employee inquiries, facilitate conflict resolution, and support workplace investigations.
- Monitor employee feedback and recommend policy and practice improvements.
- Partner with leadership and HR teams, support organizational change, and promote employee well-being.
- Help ensure workplace practices align with company standards and applicable requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, relationship-building, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of employee relations principles and workplace practices.
- Sound judgment, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information.
- Clear policy communication, organization, and case-management skills.
- Ability to collaborate with employees, managers, and leaders and manage multiple matters objectively.
- Analytical and decision-making abilities; commitment to fairness, confidentiality, engagement, and positive culture.
