Job Summary
The Accountant will be responsible for voucher creation relating to payment processing, general accounting and occasional reporting & analysis.
This is a progressive role with full training and development available working in a multicultural team.
Working with finance and accounting team to implement and uphold best practices for financial activity policies and procedures including execution, recording, and reporting.
Performing data analysis and reconciliation, responding to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner and performing work within department deadlines.
Working hours are 9am – 5pm five days per week.
Required Skills
- In order to be successful in this role you must be an Emirati (with family book) and possess the following:
- University degree in finance or accounting.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in finance or accounting.
- Strong verbal and written skills in English and Arabic, and knowledge of basic technology such as Google Calendar and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge in a major accounting system that utilizes double entry principles
