The employer is expanding its team and seeking an ELV Technician.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure, test, and maintain access control, time attendance, CCTV, nurse call, and related ELV systems.
- Install copper and fiber optic structured cabling; troubleshoot ELV systems.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD.
- Ensure work meets project specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.
- Test and commission systems, complete handovers, and provide ongoing technical support and maintenance.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and site teams.
Qualifications and experience
- Experience in ELV/IT systems within the UAE; one section specifies 3 years, while another specifies 5 years as required.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field; attested certificates are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, nurse call, and time attendance systems.
- Hands-on structured cabling and fiber optic installation and termination experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for reading and modifying technical drawings.
- Familiarity with UAE industry standards and best practices; able to work independently and in a team.
Language and skills
- Fluent English speaking, reading, and writing is required.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
