ELV Technical Engineer

Role overview
Lead implementation of ELV systems and assist the Technical Manager in coordinating internal and external project stakeholders.
Install, modify, repair, maintain, and test ELV systems, including programming and device installation and terminations.
Work includes overseeing technicians, site surveys, workflow coordination, and on-the-job training as needed.
Project duties
- Coordinate mobilization with the Technical Manager, including meetings, site offices, storage, communications, and PPE.
- Check drawings and issue them to site for construction; update the Technical Manager on site activities.
- Allocate technicians and sites to supervisors, coordinate procurement, and assist with schedules and manpower planning.
- Obtain applicable approvals from authorities, consultants, and clients; prepare method statements and ensure adherence after approval.
- Perform ELV coordination and project engineering on small to medium projects; attend weekly client meetings and prepare progress reports.
- Resolve critical design issues through design changes and approvals; request pricing for approved changes.
- Report schedule risks and optimize priorities and resources as needed.
- Request testing and commissioning inspections and prepare catalogues and O&M documents following client approval.
Qualifications
- The qualification section states 2–3 years of experience in Qatar.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or IT is listed as a qualification requirement, while a separate education entry marks a bachelor's degree as preferred.
- A valid Qatar driving license is required.
- Two years of ELV systems experience is listed as preferred.
