ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) Draftsman

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented

to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, strong AutoCAD proficiency, and 2–5+ years of hands-on experience in ELV systems drafting.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings, system schematics, route layouts, and as-built drawings for a variety of security, communication, and low-voltage systems.

Experience with CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Fiber Optic Networks, PA/AV Systems, and Home Automation is highly preferred.

Candidates with UAE/GCC project experience and familiarity with local authority requirements such as TDRA, SIRA, and ADMCC will have an added advantage.

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, or a closely related technical field.

2 to 5+ years of dedicated experience in ELV and security system drafting, with many regional roles (especially in the UAE) requiring local experience.

Advanced 2D proficiency in

Applicants must understand standard ELV and ICT systems, which typically include:

Structured Cabling and Fiber Optic Networks.

2.

CCTV and Video Surveillance.

3.

Access Control Systems and Intercoms.

4.

Public Address (PA) and Audio-Visual (AV) Systems.

5.

GRMS, Home automation Systems.

1.

Prepare detailed and accurate shop drawings, route layouts, and final as-built drawings for construction and fit-out phases.

2.

Liaise with design engineers, project teams, and main contractors to resolve drawing discrepancies and ensure structural/architectural coordination.

In regions like Dubai and Abu Dhabi, knowledge of local authority guidelines is frequently required.

Candidates are often preferred if they have certifications such as

TDRA ( Telecom ) SIRA (Security Industry Regulatory Agency) or familiarity with ADMCC (Abu Dhabi Monitoring & Control Centre) regulations.
