Full-time, on-site ELV Engineer role based in Dubai.
Design, implement, and maintain ELV and security systems in line with SIRA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare designs and layouts for CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and related systems.
- Review technical drawings and documentation for compliance with industry and local standards.
- Conduct site surveys and coordinate installation with project teams and contractors.
- Test, commission, and troubleshoot ELV systems.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies; prepare technical reports and maintain project records.
- Support after-sales service and maintenance; collaborate with ICT and facilities teams on integrated solutions.
Qualifications and requirements
- Strong ELV knowledge, including CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms, and related security solutions, with practical design, installation, and commissioning experience.
- Familiarity with SIRA regulations and UAE security standards, including approval documentation and compliance audits.
- Ability to read and develop technical drawings and schematics; proficiency with relevant design and configuration tools.
- Understanding of networking and ICT fundamentals, including IP addressing, cabling, switches, storage, and integration.
- Troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose on-site issues and implement corrective actions.
- Communication skills for coordination and technical reporting.
- Relevant diploma or bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related engineering field.
- Previous UAE ELV engineering or security systems experience; SIRA training or certification is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently on site in Dubai.
