About This Role
Senior Technician – Marine Electronics & Smart Devices
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technician to lead and manage our technical workshop, specializing in marine navigation systems, smart watches, and advanced electronic devices. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to support both internal operations and customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise day-to-day operations of the technical workshop
- Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot a wide range of marine navigation devices (GPS, fishfinders, radar, VHF, AIS, autopilots, etc.)
- Repair and configure smart watches, wearables, and consumer electronic devices
- Perform advanced electronic board-level diagnostics and component replacement
- Ensure high-quality repair standards and adherence to manufacturer guidelines
- Manage workshop inventory, tools, and spare parts
- Handle customer communication professionally (email, phone, and in-person)
- Prepare technical reports, repair quotations, and service summaries
- Work efficiently with Excel, ERP systems, and internal service platforms
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments
- Provide training and support to junior technicians
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years experience in electronics repair and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of marine electronics is highly preferred
- Solid experience repairing smart watches and modern consumer electronics
- Ability to read schematics, perform soldering, and handle diagnostic tools
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
- Customer-friendly attitude with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to lead a small technical team
